how do you add someone to be your friend in facebook’s pet society?

How do you invite someone who already has a pet to be your friend? I mean how to add as your friend, not welcome to play society's pet.

You type their name on the search bar and there will be an option next to their name that says add to friends.

all you have to do is add them as a friend as normal then they will appear on the pet’s friend list as well. You don’t have to invite them for pet society if they already have a pet.:)
